On October 20th 2007 the martial arts world lost one of its great individuals 10th degree Grand Master Glenn Kwan founder of Genki-do Kempo Karate.

Grand Master Kwan spent his life teaching and promoting goodwill within the martial arts community.

On October 24th 2009 many students and friends of Soke Glenn Kwan gathered at the Glenn Kwan Memorial Tournament along with competitors to remember Soke Kwan and to raise funds in his memory for the Simcoe/Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre.

We are pleased to announce that we were able to donate $500.00 in memory of Glenn Kwan to the The RVH Foundation to help build the Simcoe/Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre (pictured in background).

Accepting the donation from tournament promoter Sensei Erica Dusome and the Canadian Genki-do Kempo Association/Glenn Kwan Memorial Tournament on behalf of The RVH Foundation was Sarah Kastner. (Pictured on far left).  Also on hand for the donation were Grand Master Kwan's children,grandchildren and Shihan-Dai Stuart VanLuven (senior student of Grand Master Kwan).
